This FREE workshop is open to military and VA personnel as well as patients and their families. Medical and rehab personnel may obtain Continuing Medical Education (CME) or Continuing Education Units (CEU) credits by attending this workshop. Please make sure to choose the CME or CEU option on the registration form!

We are holding this symposium to commemorate the release of the textbook Care of the Combat Amputee, published by the Borden Institute as part of the Textbooks for Military Medicine. This textbook is the formal publication of our work from a consensus conference of the same name, held on September 17-19, 2007 at the Center for the Intrepid in St. Antonio, TX, where rehabilitation experts from the Department of Defense, Department of Veterans Affairs, and the civilian community united to define the state of care for rehabilitation of the combat amputee.

 

PLEASE NOTE THAT ATTENDEES WILL NO LONGER BE GRANTED CONTINUING EDUCATION CREDITS THROUGH VIDEOCONFERENCING. ATTENDANCE MUST BE IN PERSON TO OBTAIN CREDITS.
