The RERC on Wheelchair Transportation Safety represents a comprehensive collection of projects focused on improving the safety of those using their wheelchair as a motor vehicle seat. Projects address wheelchair securement, occupant crash protection, development of industry standards, and assessing the incidence of wheelchair user injury in a motor vehicle crash.
